McAfee says these cryptocurrencies are destined to fail because of the controls that each government would impose to regulate their use.

These statements can be related to the Venezuelan government after the issuance of El Petro, a cryptocurrency that is allegedly backed by oil barrels, and where analysts already consider it to be a failure due to rejection among the country's residents and international investors.
