Craig Wright files for fourteen days extension after Florida court’s ruling

Craig Wright has filed an application in court to get 14 days extension after the Florida court announced him to pay $4 billion in bitcoins to Kleiman estate. In 2018 David Kleiman’s brother Ira Kleiman filed a $10 billion lawsuit against Craig Wright. In the recent ruling, the judge ordered Wright to pay half of the bitcoins that he owned before 2013.

Self-proclaimed bitcoin inventor has filed for an extension to challenge the court’s order. Late David Kleiman and Craig Wright together mined more than a million bitcoins before the death of David in April 2013.

Florida Court found David guilty of producing false testimony under oath and insufficient documents to prove his case, and the judge ruled in favor of Kleiman estate.

This billion-dollar lawsuit has attracted the eyes of the crypto community. If Craig loses the case and pays billions of dollars in BTC to Kleiman estate, it might impact the bitcoin market.
