1) MediBloc at Digital Healthcare Forum (August 21)
Dr. Eunsol Lee, co-founder and CEO of MediBloc, was invited to give a keynote speech at the 43rd Digital Healthcare Forum hosted by Samsung Advanced Institute for Health Sciences & Technology. With the topic of ‘the future of healthcare innovation led by blockchain’, Dr. Lee explained what the technology is, how it can be implemented in the healthcare industry, and how MediBloc is utilizing the technology.
2) MediBloc at BLOCKFESTA (August 22–23)
MediBloc attended BLOCKFESTA 2018, a blockchain conference hosted by Block Media, the first Korean media startup that focuses on blockchain technology and cryptocurrency. Mayor of Seoul(Wonsoon Park), former chairman of Financial Services Commission(Jongryong Yim), representatives of various blockchain associations, and congressmen joined the event and had networking sessions with the participating companies and project teams. The mayor also promised to make the city of Seoul the most supportive city of blockchain-based startups and the technology itself. Our team was thrilled to see how MediBloc booth was filled with people wanting to find out what our platform has to offer to revolutionize the healthcare industry.
