Medicines are chemical substances that apply to the normal functioning of the organism and by which the disease is destroyed or cured, or disease and tribulation is prevented; Herbal Disease includes. Medication is basically two types: therapeutic and prophylactic. According to the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) specification: "Products that diagnose, diagnose, cure, mitigation, treatment, or prevention are used" and "products (excluding food) Human and other organisms may affect the physical structure or activity of "their medicine". However, the definition of drugs such as strictly imposed by the World Health Organization Does not. According to the World Health Organization: "medicine" can be used in a variety of ways. Medical science medicines which have cure and prevention capacity, or which help to maintain physical and mental well-being. Pharmacologically, pharmaceuticals are able to alter the biochemical and physical processes of the organism or calluses. In general, the word "drug" means illegal substances. For example: heroin, Phensidyl, marijuana, etc.
Legal definition
Although the antidote and antidiabetic are commonly referred to as medicines, it means more in common law. For example, according to the Drug Act or Medicine Act of 1940, made in British period and effective in Bangladesh, the legal definition of medicine is as follows:
- Medicine refers to those things which are used indirectly or externally for the diagnosis, treatment, mitigation, or prevention of humans or animals.
- Medicine refers to the products used in the diagnosis, the products used for the abortion, the products used in birth control, the use of chemotherapy, fitness, bandage, drying cotton, bacteriophage, plaster, gelatin capsules, antiseptic.
- Any other food other than food that is used to affect the body or body of any other organism or any work of the body or to kill lice or lice pests.
- Anything that is British Pharmacopeia, United States Pharmacopeia The British Pharmacopoeal Codex, National Formulary or International Pharmacopeia has been established as Monograph and which is used in combination with Unani, Ayurvedic, Homeopathy and Biochemistry as a combination of single or other items mentioned in section 1, 2 and 3.
