Come out and meet @rustle!

Our mate @rustle, a recent escapee from Adelaide Zoo has Carpe Diem'd his was across Australia one meet at a time, current stop Sydney. @ratticus and @mattclarke both sent me messages about meeting up with Rustle for a cuddle before he heads off to @choogirl and as if I could resist.

Since @ratticus, @rustle and I will be meeting up we figured why not invite rest of the team and turn this into a Meet-Up.

I've been to a few meets in my time and each one had a different feel due to the nature of the group. So TeamAustralia being TeamAustralia I'm picturing a chilled out vibe, with good food and plenty of drinks to choose from.

The Bavarian Bier Cafe is an old favourite of mine and Hubby's

The first time we went to the Bavarian Cafe was for a mate's 30th birthday party, we enjoyed ourselves so much we went back the next weekend for Hubby's birthday.

The food is amazing (I've always been a sucker for pork crackling), so are the drinks, the ambiance and those shots paddles. Seriously, this is a place you share with people.

What's even better is Parramatta is pretty central and it's accessible via public transport (bus, train or ferry) and there's plenty of off street and secure parking for people who are driving out.

• There's plenty of parking available in Parramatta, but we like the secure carpark behind Sicilian if we're driving in.

• Those taking the train in, in this map you can see how far the venue is from Parramatta train station and Westfield.

Reservations & Booking

Although it's a pretty relaxed and open space with plenty of tables, just in case they get crazy on Saturday afternoons, maybe it's best if we can get our numbers sorted out by next Monday so we can reserve a table for 'Team Australia'.
