MEMES on Steemit are WEAK AS FUCK

... and I thought @fresh-meme-dream was weak compared to the savage shit flying on the internet these days.

Like, look at this "quality trending meme post" right here. Just because it's posted by a whale doesn't mean that it's quality content (look at @berniesanders and @haejin for fuck's sake), especially when it comes to memes.

Disclaimer + explanation / something to cover my ass:
I think @netuoso and @acidyo are great promoters of Steem, but maybe memes aren't really something up their alley. This sort of content is never going to attract those actually interested in meme. Since the majority of "memes" on Steemit are targeted towards and revolve around cryptocurrency trading, non-niche content is seldom found on here. Therefore, as you read this post, keep in mind that I have no intention of attacking the people involved in the existing meme community here on Steemit.

Anyway, here goes.

Today, I'd like to announce that @fresh-meme-dream is going to amp up the level of edginess in the shitposts found here, to counteract all of the WEAK PG-0-years-old SHIT I'm finding on steemit.com, busy.org, or whatever front-end site you use to access the content backed by the Steem blockchain.

What does this mean?

Well, for one, if you'd like to see some changes to the funny side of Steemit, consider re-Steeming this post, sending funny posts to @fresh-meme-dream, and delegating Steem Power so I can use it as a buffer to help me grow this account and subsequently bring more exposure to better humorous content.
