Isn't it convenient out of all the viruses poor flu is constantly changing? You know what would be interesting if there was any, and I mean ANY research that demonstrates this.
How could they tell it's changed? They cannot and the proof is in the pudding:
If you can validate what size those things pictured are as they all conveniently don't show any scale or any other information as to the method that was used to illuminate them or at the very least the imaging technique, because from the looks of it, it's another non-descript and meaningless image under electron microscopy posed as "it's a virus". Contrast that image to the numerous images available of cells under electron scanning microscopy that look eerily similar and of the same size were we to assume that the resolution was the same, as those presented by the CDC without any reference or citation to the scale used, let alone from what specimen those came from or a hint at the process of isolating them.
Well I certainly don't claim to have any empirical knowledge about the mutation of viruses but I thought it was one of those accepted facts like the fact that the earth is round;)
Ok, you take some things for granted and don't bother to look at them, so you are basically ok with speaking on things you have no real knowledge of.
The flu virus continually changes so these vaccines can only be hit and miss at best and more than likely totally useless.
Makes logical sense from what you know, after all, you thought that everyone accepted that as a fact, and logically vaccination is only so good if the virus keeps changing. That's why it says on the insert that no studies have been done, well no studies have ever been done, but you probably thought that vaccines and their efficacy was accepted fact, like the world being round.
Yes indeed, I do take many things for granted about which I have no real knowledge, such as that severing an artery can cause you to bleed out or that the sea only looks blue because of the way it absorbs sunlight.
My point about the flu vaccine was that if viruses mutate or evolve, as is generally believed, this might suggest that any vaccine would likely be ineffective, be it tested or not. I was not vaccinated as a child and have no belief in their efficacy.
My use of a winking face and italics were intended to indicate that I was being a little mischievous in saying that the shape of the earth was a fact. I have little interest in the shape of the earth. It makes no difference to the mess it's in.
