Why would altcoins explode before bitcoinÉ
I wouldn't say before, but with a higher % increase. We tend to see bitcoin hold its value better on bear markets but we see altcoins increase more % in bull markets, possibly providing better investment opportunities.
From August to November 2017 bitcoin went from around 2k to 20k and Alts were left in its dust. If I would have sold all Alts back in to bitcoin before that btc bull run than bought back Alts after I would have killed it. From now on I pay close attention to the btc/alt cycle

Thats great for bitcoin.....i hope oneday every bank will accept bitcoin and others cryptocurrency as they understand the power of Bitcoin.
