51 N Bombs by a Handcuffed 51-Year-Old Man

It's made regional news here in the NY. The way it's being spun is dat dat Black gurl/Woman Officer was so brave :shrug. What 51 year old Ilya Freyman did was in poor taste but the way he did it was childish. According to NewsOne:

Officers arrested him(Ilya) at a Brooklyn gas station after he reportedly punched an attendant booth at the station, breaking the glass. He was arrested for criminal mischief, reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct.

The guy seems like a menace in large part because of all that he did. Secondary to that while his clothes aren't terrible or terribly fucked up, they look like they are from 15-20 years ago. That's somewhat of a red flag in my mind. It usually means drugs or an oddly thinking man.

Da odd man is also getting charged for harraassment:

The police also charged him with harassment for his racist rant.

NYPD has been throwing down all of these harassment charges. Personally, I hope they don't stick. The reason here being the guy is a captive and what he did obviously got him arrested. It's not like he was following someone down the street randomly shouting nigger because of a wholly benign encounter. He has the right to remain silent. Doesn't he have the right to talk too? Even if it's talk shit? It makes the officer look weak too

A few people have been hit with harassment. Whether it has been an argument or something like this, it's been racial. Importantly, it's not just belligerence for belligerence sake. People have arguments and blow their tops. Deadbeats get arrested. The cops aren't allowed to discipline them. To my understanding, to qualify for harassment, it used to have to be established there was malice by showing it was overtime. Otherwise, if you make one prank phone call and that's harassement.
