From a slave to a Master chapter # 52 - The Misty Curtain, Part II

A Memoir

You would be correct to say that here, right at the other side of the gate, you feel as if you live within a fogy reality, amidst a thick mist of…nothingness. You cannot successfully look ahead into the future, in order to know what might happen to you in the days to come. You mentally know that you crossed a major obstacle but nothing looks like the kingdom of love as you had imagined it to be.

The soil itself beneath your feet is an illusion; merely an airy and transparent layer of… nothingness. If you turned back to observe the road you have taken so far you would be surprised to see that while the gate has disappeared you can clearly observe the old reality from which you have arrived. That is the dualistic world, in which every event and object has its contradiction. There, love and relationships are characterized by a duality which you have already abandoned and left behind you.

Although you have no need for such duality any more you still can watch your friends and loved ones battling in their relationships, trying to survive between two opposite forces. When they look to your direction they can see nothing but a grey and threatening mist which is yet inaccessible to them. Do not fear. You have not lost the old world with its familiar relatives and friends. In fact, you can cross back and return to the duality any time you wish whether to relearn old lessons or to show the road to a dear soul who has chosen, like you, the path of Realization and now seeks guidance.

Nevertheless, your main focus now is to find your way in this mysterious and misty place called the kingdom of love.

Not alone

One of the features that accompanies one’s continuous stay in that psychological territory that is, the Kingdom of Love, is the hunch that one is being watched. Suddenly you might feel that you are not by yourself, that there is someone who monitors your moves, who knows what you do and yet remains silent and non-judgmental. Such a feeling is valid and real indeed. Whereas you could have walked through your entire life alone and in solitude, after making your decision to walk the path and especially after crossing the gate you automatically attract to yourself the attention of the consciousness that maintains and supports the energetic field that founds the physical reality. Get used to that feeling because it is here to remain and to grow much stronger. At times, that still vague force will come to your aid to remove some blocks on your path. You are never alone, you have never been, and now, more than ever, you definitely deserve to tap into that rewarding knowing.

Rules (?)

Numerous questions may pop up in your head in this new status: how life will look like at the other side of the gate? Will I be happier? What should I do next? What do I need to know now? Where is my TrueLove? Am I done with the journey? And before I delve into answering those questions I wish to detail some of the technical characters of the nature of Realization. I have said before that there are very accurate and specific guidelines (rules) that govern the structure called Realization. Those principles must be adhered to if one wishes to remain foot in the kingdom; just as social and moral rules must be followed in order to belong to any community.

Pay attention – now that you are in the kingdom of love, you must follow the principles that govern this system or else you would find yourself back in the duality world where you would need to pave your way back. Nothing is wrong about that occurrence, should it indeed occur, but why waste time and effort?! Now, more than ever, you are fully responsible for your life. No angel will come to scold you for breaking the rules and no one will judge you but yourself. Hence, follow those guidelines and everything will take care of itself.

In the next articles I will detail those principles but here and now I want to stress that it’s nothing like the rules and regulations of any legal or social system that you know of. Therefore, keep an open mind and expect nothing.

Time (?)

Another feature of that misty curtain in which you currently reside in is the irrelevancy of the factor called time. I am not speaking about the subjective feeling of non-time – “time flies” or “time seems to stand still” – but to a much broader issue. In the kingdom of realization, time has no meaning; there is no past and no future. The only time that exists is the Now moment; the moment of the present.

Be careful not to jump into conclusions. The fact that nothing exists out there but your present moment doesn’t mean that all that you are (or have) is only what you are (or have) in this particular moment. It's complementary. Meaning, everything, all the things that you will ever have, or the “You”s that you will ever be or were, exist now, in this grand and broad now moment. Read that last sentence again. What does it mean about your relationships? What does it mean about your life in general?

The answer is simple – Your beloved partner already exists here and now. There is no illusion here. There is no room for doubt. That man or woman, which you so desire to meet and live with already exists. You do not need to create them, to invent them or to pray for God to manifest them for you. They already exist, living and breathing. They are real; just like you are. Can you feel the implication of that?

The only thing that prevents you from seeing or feeling them is the misty curtain that still surrounds you. You are not seen by your lovers and although your presence is indeed felt, your first and foremost mission from now on is to remove the mist that covers you and to allow your Master self to see you, to present themselves to you and to communicate with you.

I will say it again – you do not need to wander anymore. You do not need to search for anything. Your desired partner exists in a certain place in the Kingdom, a location that is reserved just for the two of you, and it suffices for you to know of its existence and to focus on removing the mist.
