They say that the Camp Nou is the 'garden of Messi'. The statistics prove it. Messi will play his 200th league game at Camp Nou on Sunday against Alaves.

In the 199 matches so far, he has scored 211 goals. That's 1.06 per game. He has won on 170 times (85.4%) and lost just 11 (5.5%). The other games were drawn - 18 (9%).

Messi, who netted Barcelona's 4000th goal at Camp Nou on Thursday against Espanyol (2-0), will likely start against Alaves. He made his debut at Camp Nou on October 24, 2004, as Barcelona beat Osasuna 3-0. He played the last 18 minutes as a substitute.

His first goal arrived in his fifth game, against Albacete (2-0), on May 1, 2005. And he started for the first time the next season, 22 October 2005 - as Barcelona beat Osasuna 3-0 again.

Messi has played 15,790 minutes out of the 17,910 possible at Camp Nou in La Liga - he lost most of the 2,120 in the early seasons, when Frank Rijkaard was bringing him in and gave him only around 30 minutes here and there.

33 VICTIMS
The No 10 has beaten 33 teams in those 199 league games, with Espanyol and Sevilla his favourite victims - he's scored 15 against each here. Atletico and Osasuna (14 each) and Valencia (13).

He's scored against Madrid six times at Camp Nou in La Liga and Alaves, just once. That came in 2006 as Barcelona won 2-0 on January 22. He played just 17 minutes in that game.

Messi's best run came between game 113 and 125, in which he scored 22 goals. Last season he netted 20 goals in a period of scoring in 12 consecutive games.
