Less popular Metal bands. Less known? But worth to know. My top 5 of these...

#1: Riverside. From Wikipedia: Riverside is a progressive rock band from Warsaw, Poland. It was founded in 2001 by friends Mariusz Duda, Piotr Grudziński, Piotr Kozieradzki and Jacek Melnicki, who shared a love for progressive rock and heavy metal, although Duda, the main lyricist and composer of the band, was originally a fan of electronic, ambient and experimental music, like Radiohead, Massive Attack, Dead Can Dance, Tangerine Dream, Peter Gabriel. Riverside can be described as a blend of atmospheric rock and metal elements, resulting in a sound similar to that of Porcupine Tree, The Mars Volta, Opeth, and Dream Theater, while still maintaining an identity of their own.
In my words, progressive band that sounds wonderful, astonishing, hypnotizing sounds. I'm proud to be Polish, as they are.

#2: Spoil Engine: According to Wikipedia - Spoil Engine is a five-piece metal band from Belgium, formed in 2004. The band plays a mix of melodic thrash metal and groove metal, influenced by bands such as Pantera, In Flames, Lamb of God and Soilwork. They have released one demo and three full albums and were the first Belgian band to sign with Roadrunner Records. My comment is worth to hear, female on vocals with screaming. Powerful drums and guitars. Every song has its own style. #3: Rage of Light. Band playing Melodic Death Metal, created in 2007 in Switzerland. Powerful playing, powerful lyrics. #4: Materia. It is one of the most promising bands in Europe. In short period of time they played over 150 shows over their homeland. They shared festival stages with the biggest metal bands as Metallica, Slayer, Megadeth, Anthrax and many more. Their first album "Case of Noise" (2013) is one of the most popular metal album in Poland last year. They are young, they are fresh and they gonnna smash your heads!(copy-pasted from their video on youtube). My comment? They play great, once again, I am proud of them, as I am also Polish. #5: Unleash The Archers. Unleash the Archers is a Canadian heavy metal band from Victoria, BC, currently signed with Napalm Records. The band plays a fusion of traditional heavy metal with power metal and melodic death metal. - as the wikipedia says. For me, that fusion of classic metal and modern metal is great. Before hearing them I would never thought that kind of playing can be possible :) Almost every song of the band I love. PS: other clips are not so popular, they don't reach 1mln views.
