Metal Detecting - Help ID this Copper Bracelet?

Hello All,

I went metal detecting at a local high school in my area. I came out with a pocket full of modern change and this really awesome copper bracelet!

Does anyone recognize the emblem? Native or South American? I'd sure like some help ID'ing this piece if you know.
