ARE PROTEIN SUPPLEMENTS SAFE?

Hi guys, today i am going to cover all your doubts about protein & other gym supplements , especially in India we have a perception about all these supplements that they are used by body builders and our parents & so called "4 peoples" society told us that all these will harm your body and make you impotence.

Unfortunately protein powder have very bad reputation in our country. people think these are n`t natural, how often do you mean someone who just started gymming and said i can eat tons of eggs ,chicken and all kinds of meat but bro i want it natural not "DABBA WALI" body.

MISCONCEPTION
What most Indians failed to understand is that there is huge difference between synthetic harmful gym supplements like steroids and naturally derived supplements like whey proteins. So lets get into it scientifically.

HOW ARE PROTEIN POWDERS MADE ?

This thing is whey or paneer water, it is found in every single indian house because its used to make paneer, so when paneer is make from milk , this is a byproduct . The first thing you need to know the most protein powder in india are derived from whey, to make protein there is a process called micro-filtration ,in simple term micro-filtration separate liquid and solid part of whey. The solid part is what whey concerned is, because it forms the basic raw material for protein shakes.

SHOULD YOU TAKE PROTEIN SUPPLEMENTS?

Yes you should take no matter to gender and there are three reasons for that.

  1. BIOLOGICAL VALUE :- Every protein source in the world had bio-value, it represents how well your body can absorb that protein source for the right reasons which in a healthy persons life is building lean muscle mass. The concept of BV aims before whey proteins , Egg protein (BV = 100) sets the basic standard for all other proteins because it is considered the best protein source, milk protein (BV = 91) but Whey protein had a value of 104. WHEY PROTEIN (BV = 104), so scientifically whey protein is the best food in the world if you wanna grow lean muscle mass and work towards better health .

  2. LIQUID FORM:- protein shakes are consumed in liquid form, when compare to the other forms of proteins you
    consumed like egg, milk, dairy , sprouts , bees , they are all solids and take time for your body to break them down and
    then gets absorbed . on the other hand, protein shakes after drinking immediately absorbed because it is already
    break down.Just after a workout when you body needs tissues to repair because of stretching ,protein shakes is the
    best option because protein reaches your muscle faster than anything else and also its not look good to carry bunch of eggs to gym and eat it in the gym.

  3. EASY CONSUMPTION :- In order to increase your lean muscle mass , in order of time you need to consume more
    amount of protein and after a time it is hard to consume that much chicken and eggs, and protein shake on the other
    hand just drink it and its done.
    1 scoop protein shake = 25-30 g of protein
    1 whole egg = 6.5 g of protein.
    So a scoop has 5 eggs of protein, so its easier to take protein rather than eating eggs.

If this is your first time i recommend to go with simple whey protein primarily because whey protein are cheap.I have used Ultimate Nutrition Pro star and it works like magic .You need not to be afraid of protein they are natural.

They don`t cause kidney problems but a lack of hydration does and not even hair loss a poor lifestyle and genetics does and girls protein wont make you bulky but steroids like injection will do it.
For weight loss you can try ISOPURE low carbs protein its best.

The whole world is consuming protein shakes but india is fallen back in fitness because of misconceptions.

@rahulwasan Protein Supplement May Risk of Kidney Damage. When increased amounts of whey protein are taken over an extended period of time, there is a risk of developing kidney disorders, including kidney stones. High protein diets rich in whey can be a health concern that may lead to possible impaired function of the kidneys!!!

i think you read the blog completely, whey protein shake does not harm your kidneys but steriods can.

Thank you for this :) I myself lift a lot heavy and being a veggie, my protein consumption is not fulfilled by normal diet, hence I gotta take 2 scoops daily.. And theres nothing wrong in that.. hope ppl understand this.

Plus if I increase my diet to fulfill my protein consumption, there will be more carbs n calories going into my body too.. which no one would want if on a weight losing regime.

I think When we have soo many naturally containing proteins foods and veggies so consumeing protein supplement is not that natural..

mam i think you should read the whole blog first and also i dont mind veggies but if they are natural as we all know how veggies are being harvested under chemicals and injections into veggies to grow fast. so if they are natural why do we need anything else. if the air is all good why do we need mask to wear .

Protein shakes may be good but I will beleive in consuming protein rich edibles that are natural
