Decentraland (MNA), the first virtual platform owned by its users, announced on its official blog that it has joined forces with the South Korean government sponsored Next Reality Partners program. Its goal is to develop blockchane gaming in South Korea through the launch of DCL.X, which is a new accelerator for game developers. The firm posted tweets on 24 July.

According to the announcement on its blog, the DCL.X Accelerator is designed to bring blockchane-based gaming and virtual reality (VR) studios together in South Korea. It is expected that the DCL.X South Korean VR will provide a huge enthusiasm to game developers, which will give them the necessary support to tap into the Descentral SDK and enable their global audience to grow faster.

Partnerships with GeoGi Content Agency (GCA) Next Reality Partners (NRP)

GCA NRP has been one of the major Korean government sponsored VR / AR accelerators for nearly two years. Its aim is to promote and support digital content creation in the South Korean VR / AR industries. It has provided guidance, funding and additional support for many virtual reality startups. Some of the GCA NRP partners, with the likes of Google and HTC, are expected to work Decentraland. As a result of this consolidation between the technical heavyweights, there will be an increase in VR and Blockchain gaming industries in South Korea and globally.

Partnership level is expected to be at global level with future expansion plans

Decentraland has indicated in his official blog that it will provide a tailor-made, dedicated co-work place in the center of Seoul, Korea in GarosuGil.
