All this stuff is really insane. Sometimes all I can do is just sit here and shake my head.
In stark contrast, a few weeks back I came upon an article/blog on ZeroHedge talking about a recent study in which it was shown that there are now 51 million households ("households," not "people") in the US that are financially "at risk." An estimated 41+% of the US population is not sure where any given month's basic expenses will come from; rent, utilities, groceries...
At some point, the Titanic surely WILL hit the iceberg...
What frustrates me most is that many people who support the idea of defending our freedoms militarily will give the government a pass on any corrupt thing it does or spends in pursuit of that "goal." We can argue the merits of any government "goal," but when someone turns a blind eye because they picked either the Dem or Rep team to cheerlead is just sad.
