Wow @riverflows - I was reading this with my whole body. I know sounds strange right?
It isn’t. When we read with the whole body the every word creates a sensation / vibration in the body and you get into meditative states while reading. I was meditating while reading, yes that’s right. As Eckhart Tolle says “you don’t need the evidence if meditation works. You practice meditation and you be the evidence.” Living proof of your own primary empirical research / experiment. And as Buddha often said “if it hasn’t happened to you or you haven’t experienced it then it is not true for you no matter whether mountain of evidence says so or even enlightened being said so.” “Atta dipa bhava” in pali meaning “Be light / island unto yourself.”

Can't say I was meditating while reading this but I really felt it in a powerful way. I'm sure the same can be experienced while listening to music. Be an island unto yourself ( and the thought of music ) reminded me of one of my favorite bands of the last couple of years: Future Islands. This music is full of life and the front man/ vocalist of this band seems to be channeling all the energy, not just in his voice but also in his dancing, while performing live.

Agree music is highly meditative - We could feel the energy vibration (sensation) in the body when listening to music 🧘🏼♂️🧘🏼♀️

In the end, everything is vibration, right? Smells, sounds, the things we see and so on. But yeah, there's definitely things we vibrate and resonate with more easily, that make us feel good effortlessly :>)
