Spiritual life versus real life.

To achieve something in the spiritual world requires a lifetime of fierce self-discipline, channeled in one direction only.

Testing is the best way to get nowhere and get lost.

If you want to get somewhere, you have to sit for many hours a day for many years, not thinking and thinking about a subject, this is to reflect, think even try and correct in life itself, not yourself, it means Meditating with the purpose of dominating the mind.

Real life is cruder, full of vicissitudes, ups and downs, pain, pleasure, joy and sadness.

The spiritual life is intangible, the real life is material. I think that the best life is the balanced one, the one that seeks to benefit from the goodness of the spirit, escaping from the daily stress; and the one that seeks the fullness to enjoy the material in company of the beings that are that way, without harming, nor interfering in the role of life of the others.

Nice post, I think that eventually on the Dharmic path we will come to realize that "real" life is essentially the same as "spiritual" life, everything is sacred and amazing in every way. Maybe we should not seek to "dominate" the mind but instead become inquistive learners about it, humble in our quest to understand it, not to try to gain some measure of ultimately impermanent power over it!

For me, that is precisely the balance that we all need to reach at some point in our lives.

@therealwolf 's created platform smartsteem scammed my post this morning (mothersday) that was supposed to be for an Abused Childrens Charity. Dude literally stole from abused children that don't have mothers ... on mothersday.
