So here is the trick

• The man first takes the chicken on row boat with him across the river leaving behind the fox and sack of corn.
• Man leaves the chicken on other side of river and comes back empty handed on boat to take the fox. He then leaves sack of corn behind and takes fox with him on boat to other side of river where he left the chicken.
• The Man then drops the fox on other side of river and takes back the chicken with him on row boat, this time he is going back with chicken not empty handed.
• The man then crosses the river and drops the chicken where the sack of corn is and takes sack of corn to the fox leaving the chicken behind on this side.
• The man drops the sack of corn with the fox and then goes backempty handed to the side where the chicken is.
• The man picks the chicken, crosses the river on row boat where he left sack of bag and the fox.
• The man is smart takes everything on other side of river one by one.
