Mining?

in #mining6 years ago

Recently, we started a mining operation for cryptocurrency's. We currently have ASICs miners, which mine DASH, and bitcoin. We also started assembling a GPU mining rig for versatility.

The ASICs miners were the most easiest to setup. Being that all we had to do was plug in the miner to the PSU(Power Supply Unit), then access the IP address for the miner through a PC, input the mining pool stratum and password, and let it run! The ASICs miners are definitely the easiest setup, but also the hottest miners.

ASICs miners do not need to have air conditioning or cooled air blowing to the fans of the ASICs. Instead the ASICs miners just need a lot of air movement to cool the hashing boards in the miner. ASICs miners such as those made by Bitmain, already have 1 in and 1 out fan on either side of the miner for maximum air flow, essentially running an ASICs miner you just have to exhaust the hot air out of the room.

As with the GPU miners that has been a journey of it's own and I will update on the GPU rig build over time!
