Hello Steemians,

As of now Steemit is still in beta and for new users with an empty wallet, steemit is not that much intractable. The users who are here from 6 months or so are very much familiar with what is going around and how to get in the mainstream! As a minnow in my early days, "I have to struggle a bit to gain some attention and establish communication with other users here but it isn't that tough job". Steemit has users from around the world have different languages, differ in culture, so it is become necessary to covey the full meaning while in communication as any misunderstanding can mislead everything here. Do not worry, if you are new to this platform then I must tell you that "I have been trapped in such scenarios in past where people got the wrong meaning of my talks. Nevermind! you learn and earn from your mistakes". Okay, so what I am going to do is to make clear boundaries for all the newcomers on this blog. And this blog will be pretty much helpful for all the newcomers! So let's start the party!

Find Communities!

• The first thing that you must search is for a community. There are many steemit communities available on Steem.chat and Discord. Many users have created their community dedicated to their country people to grow on Steemit.
• You must go to the dedicated community first, like if you are Indian then you must go for Indian community first! The reason is communication gap! In the dedicated community, you will find easy to communicate and understand steemit more!
• After getting familiar with all this, you can now move to open community servers where you will find different people from different lands. And you will feel comfortable to deal with!
• Do not rush, take time! Steemit is all about experience so you must gain a bit experience. Once you will get experienced you will start gaining the attention of the people here on steemit!

No to Scams and upvote-4-upvote!

• As you will get the attention of good people, you will also get your road crossed with scammers, they are real cheaters, they play with your emotions and sometimes blackmail you!
• Recently, A discord friend approached me regarding the same situation where a bid-bot owner forcing him to give his account and password or else the owner will downvote him to dust!
• What you can do is to ignore these cheaters and upvote-4-upvote people on steem.chat, they will waste your time and resources! Instead, focus on good people and try to increase your engagement with this platform!
• Before sending your earnings, check twice or better consult with an experienced user, they will help you and make sure that the cheaters will never approach you back!

Choose wisely! Live well!

• I see many newcomers do rush and ending up with their bandwidth to the zero. Believe me there is no shortcut here, you have to pour your mind and heart in your every blog.
• You must choose whom you follow or upvote, do not just throw your upvotes right away! Be your king! Find your interest, use appropriate tags, do not do anything unnecessary or you will end up getting flagged!
• Do cast your votes to Witness! WItnesses are the people who actually keep this platform live for us, so do not forget to vote them, you will get 30 votes, it means you can vote as maximum as 30 witnesses.
