As A Minnow, What Does Steemit Really Mean to You?
Hey lovely steemians, welcome back to my blog. This article came to be as a result of the conversation i had with one of our fellow steemian, @kingscott. We discussed about how having a lot of steem power can ultimately bring more followers, and make you noticeable on the platform, and how minnows /planktons like us are getting left behind. He said he was having second thoughts about blogging on steemit. This is where i asked him the big question: What Does Steemit Really Mean To You?
This is the question I'm bringing to other steemit bloggers out there, whether you're also having second thoughts or not, whether you're a plankton or a minnow, that what does steemit really mean to you? I'm going to be answering this question first, as steemit means a great deal to me.
Firstly, i want to say that steemit has really helped me as a student because of the various projects I've been able to carry out and finish while I'm still learning at the University.
Secondly, i know one day we'll all become greater on steemit, as the natural order of growth occurs, i believe we'll all achieve our aims on steemit if we're focused and hardworking. I am going to be quoting from a particular @surpassinggoogle's @steemsecrets post, which says that "we are all whales inside". Since I've read this quote, I've gone on to put more effort into my works on steemit and I'm happy with the results I've seen.
To answer the big question, i joined steemit because for a long time i wanted my own blog but financial and time difficulties proved an obstacle. Then i heard about steemit, the platform where i could blog and earn easily. This was the ideal opportunity and i took it. The road hasn't been so smooth since then but with the help of platforms like @minnowsupport, which recognises the potentials in budding writers and encourage us with resteems and prizes, the steemit experience has never been livelier.
For now I'm going to keep writing and try to keep earning any amount on the steemit network, and I believe with the help of God and with me writing quality works and persevering, I'll reap my rewards soon. I also have a dream of becoming bigger on this platform so that i can make the journey of new steemians coming after me easier and smoother than mine.
Remember, a wise saying goes that: " the tallest oak in the forest was once just a little nut that held it's ground"

make your posts to be of unique substance, don't copy other individuals' work, reference and quote if you've copied a post or part of a post from somewhere.
Go out and upvote individuals. Some may imagine that when they upvote somebody's post they are helping the individual out, you too are procuring. Truth be told you could really get more than the creator. Now and then individuals may upvote your significant comments and you get yourself gain as well, if not more than the creator of the post.
