Making a 3D House Model

in #modelling6 years ago

Good morning great steemian, it's 02:00 GMT+1 here in Nigeria. I hope we all slept well?
Today I will be describing and showing us -a 3D House Model with the detailed procedure taken by myself and my students in school in bringing the project(house model) to a success.

Here's the overhead view of the House Model

Here we have the frontal overhead view

I hope you love it , now let's go through the neccssary details and documentation

Wikipedia defined an architectural model has a type of scale model - a physical representation of a structure - built to study aspects of an architectural design or to communicate design ideas.
Depending on the purpose, the models can be made from a variety of materials, including blocks, paper, and wood, and at a variety of scales.

We had the plans and intention to build a 3- bedroom flat 3D House model and we sort for examples on the net. Here was what we had;

The 3 Bedroom house plan

Materials used for the model includes

  • Cardboards,
  • Wooden blocks,
  • Several large pieces of Bristol board,
  • An architect's scale,
  • A utility scissors,
  • Glue stick or similar paper glue,
  • Batteries
  • Bulbs(small sizes)
  • Wires
  • Cartons
  • Switches
  • Meter rule
  • A4 paper
  • Pencil

Procedure

First and foremost, I divided the student into sections based on their skills and talents and knowledge. We had

  • The wiring student section
  • The planning student section
  • The constructing student section
  • The binding student section

Next

We designed our 3Bedroom house plan with a bit of adjustment to the original image posted earlier
---Here was the planned we worked out and worked with. Dimension 30cm by 22cm

---The Planning Student section in action

---A prototype copy of the house plan was done for the wiring of bulbs into the roofing plattform

Up next

The constructing student section and their knowledge here was outstanding and their patience and perseverance was immensely contributed.
--- One of the constructing student piercing the cardboards into sections as stipulated by the planning student section

---After succesfulling piercing the cardboards into requirement.

---All hands were on deck for the temporary rising of the structure, the constructing student section and the binding student section were wonderful, including myself

---Shot unaware, the roofing section in process by the constructing student section

--- Roofing sheet properly constructed with great skills

Up next

The Wiring student section were outstanding. Their knowledge about wiring at a tender age cannot be overemphasized. Take a look

---The prototype layout for the roof was properly wired
IMG_4332.JPG

---A test run was carried out
IMG_4333.JPG

---The first coming together of the whole groups; planning, wiring, constructing and binding units. Look at the smile on their faces, the happiness was really bright on them on this very day

Next

The interior decoration was done by the binding student section and the constructing student section
IMG_4344.JPG

Finally, all pieces together

IMG_4345.JPG

Final touches

---Wiring student section finalizing their works and creating a power source point before the binding student put the end touch to their binding works
IMG_4349.JPG

---Look at this lads at work, dedicated and concentrating
IMG_4311.JPG

---Check out the Power supply section. Switch 1 controls the whole outer light while Switch 2 controls the whole inner light. Isn't this wonderful

Lot of photo shot to follow suit, you need to see the joy on this beautiful children's face and the other student in school looking at them astonishingly.

Wow...this is lovely
Glad to see a biologist going out of his way to help his students in modelling design.

To make the issue funny , am taking the student physics and E.I.M (electrical installation and maintainance

The greatness is deemed for glory
Nice work done my fellow students

This is quite commendable and I must say this is taking 3d modelling to another level. With the look on the faces of the students, they seem happy doing it and that is passing a strong message. They really put their all in what they did and please keep up the good work, you never can tell, you might just be encouraging the next Julius Berger. #Naija #OneLove #AmProud.

Thanks for the word , I will hold them to the heart

great , kids have to be encouraged to do practical things like this, in today's world kids are getting too glued to the screen.
