How are you negative returns on Treasury bond, didn’t 20 year just go above 3% or so? Is that return on original investment or percent difference of mean of all returns?
Bonds work on supply and demand. If bond is below par price, it declines; vice versa. Bond price and coupon are different. Also TMF is leveraged.
