I'm Flying Roundtrip to Japan for Free! 日本への往復航空券を無料で手に入れました！

I just bought a plane ticket to go to Japan in September. The best thing about this is that I paid $0 for the round trip flight. I did this by churning credit cards. This is sort of like churning of bank accounts I mentioned in a previous post but with a credit card.

Banks tend to have sign up bonuses to entice people to get their credit card. These bonuses usually comes in form of airline miles, points, or statement credit. There are usually some criteria that you have to meet such as having to spend $3000 in 3 months on the credit card. You can meet this criteria by doing manufacturing spend or artifially spending money on your credit card without digging into your asset.

The card I used to get the free plane ticket to Japan was Chase Sapphire Preferred. Which I as able to get 70,000 bonus points after $4000 spend in 3 months. Sadly, this deal is not available anymore. But you can still get 50,000points.

Also, by redeeming these points through Chase Ultimate Rewards Travel site, you get 25% more value for your point. So, that 70,000 points are worth $875. That is how I was able to get $769.69 roundtrip plane ticket to Japan for 61,575 points.

このポイントをChase Ultimate Reward Travelのサイトで使う事でポイントの価値が25%上がります。ですので、この７００００ポイントは旅に使えば$875の価値があります。たった61575ポイントを使う事で日本への往復航空券代$769.69をすべてカバー出来ました。
