Marketing in social networks refers to all those activities carried out in order to promote a brand through social networks such as Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, among others, which are at their peak among Internet users, and facilitate the interaction of the brand with its target audience, at a much more personalized and dynamic level than with traditional marketing techniques.

Strategies in social networks are the heart of a marketing plan. Depending on each company and each case in particular, a variety of them can be generated, but applying them and becoming successful is another issue.

That is why today I will be very motivated to share five strategies used by large companies in Social Media with success, to increase their sales and obtain a return on investment in both qualitative and quantitative terms.

The idea of ​​these strategies is to go a little further and define real metrics such as generated leads, conversion to clients and income produced.

Of which 1% click on the link to have more information about the offer, and of those, 10% decide to buy it.

A very important potential provided by social networks is their ability to use them as a tool for market research, where we can know very valuable data for our business.

One of the best examples is the strategy in social media is Comcast, a company that had a very bad brand image and decided to implement a customer service system using several channels on Twitter. This is where a real team of people are exclusively dedicated to supporting clients and converting complaints and requests to leave in new business opportunities.
