We've been needing more of this kind of discussion but seriously, we've had countless authors from every genre try to bring this kind of threat to our attention. It usually gets drowned out by the excitement for technology. Progress or progressively worse? That this terrifying potential is more like existing threat should be no surprise whatsoever. Development. We can go so far with it with no significant deterrent from going too far when interests stay primarily close to home (personal). We all know this. As a human being, you can take a single side of any issue- but in truth, you cannot isolate yourself to or from any one facet of the whole.
