The Australian government and indeed a fair portion of the population in Australia are very anti-freedom minded people. It's a shame because I think with more liberty and lower taxation Australia could have actually been a global powerhouse of economic strength and innovation.

Whenever there is a problem in Australia... the solution is inevitably less freedom. It really is going backwards as a country. I think freedom minded Australians will start moving overseas eventually when it gets unbearable.
