Lately been watching a lot of videos about business since my sister and I are planning to venture into business. I realized too that there are two things we can do with our money, either to save or invest. But was is the difference between Saving and investing?

Saving - is not spending a protion of our income. Some may put in a bank account, others put in places they consider safe to hide such coin bank, old luggage bag, in cabinets or in a safety box.
-It's also money that is readily available when the need arise.
-it does not increase that much compared to an investment

Investment - is somewhat saving too with the difference that it is not readily available and may take sometime before you can withdraw the money.

Unlike saving investment is done in the hope that someday it will increase its value more than saving

There is also a greater chance it will lose it's value if the instrument where it was invested did not perform well

Between savings and investment I say that I still prefer to have both for future plans or goals you have.

Reminder though before investing:

** Save enough for emergency - Emergency fund is money set aside in case of financial crises or any emergency expenses, this thus not include unplanned travels or unplanned buying of gadgets or mall sale.

** Make sure that you are ready to loss the money you invest do not consider it as part of your saving
