Steemit Is The Best Place To Open A Kids/Family Savings Account!

The title of this post tells it all as far as our personal opinions go!

Why?

Well, no matter what the case may be for someone here on Steemit, whether one invested USD (fiat) and purchased STEEM or if one earned it all by blogging!

The facts are the following:

We are all creating new wealth here when blogging.

So as per 1,001 internet pages out there which give advice about "saving money" it is not a new concept of opening up a kids savings account and to put a few cents or dollars in there every now and then.

The beauty of this platform is that we can divide our new formed wealth 50/50, with 50% going into STEEM (Power) and 50% into SBD.

So why not put a part of the SBD that we earn into a savings account?

WHY?

Well we all know that when money is in front of us we tend to spend it easier, well most people. So to have a little savings account on the side, for a particular cause/reason is a good way to accommodate human nature when it concerns spending.

Likewise, when one knows WHY and for WHO money is being put into a savings account it really does give an entire new dimension to WHY we are working/creating new wealth.

In our case it is our lovely four kids that shall reap the rewards of our efforts and there is no better motivation out there for parents than to know that the efforts being invested are for the little ones.

It is also a good way to set an example to the kids. Showing them the legacies of the generation before them. That their parents set the pace by example and not just in "words". One of my common sayings is "people express themselves with words, but prove themselves with actions."

So basically no matter what your reasons may be, this here is an example of how Steemit can be utilized for a lot of our financial needs and wishes.

You may want a new boat, new car, renovation of the house, whatever the case may be, there is nothing stopping you from doing what all the financial experts suggest/recommend when it comes to "SAVING MONEY".

Think about it, it doesn't cost much to open up another account here, like 0.5 STEEM and 65,000 Vests (a couple of STEEM), or you can use some of the services out there, they cost like 8 to 10 STEEM. Which ever way you choose to do it, it is a good investment so long as you use it as the experts say.

You know, the technology has changed over the past few decades, but human nature hasn't, so when thinking about "SAVINGS" please take into account that we are all nothing more nor less than HUMANS and we need to be aware of that when it comes to things like our spending and savings habits.

Sure some people might not need to set up an extra little service like this for themselves, but most of us people DO!

So there you have it, some food for thought!

Hope I wasn't too much of a "nag" about the topic. Just wanted to share some thoughts on the topic of savings and use our own actions as an example of how we have found a way to do it!
