Rich people are less likely to notice you, according to this study

Like your cultural background, your socioeconomic status affects the way you think.

In a 2016 study published in the Association for Psychological Science, researchers at New York University claim that, compared to the working-class, the rich aren't as likely to notice or be interested in the people around them.

NYU doctoral student Pia Dietze and her co-author, psychologist Eric D. Knowles, came to that conclusion after performing a series of experiments on how members of different social classes feel about the "motivational relevance" of others, or "the degree to which others are seen as potentially rewarding, threatening or otherwise worth paying attention to."104614251-GettyImages-699697162.600x400.jpg
