So you learned how to count cards, went to the casino, applied the formula and won! It worked just like the book said. But then you noticed the casino’s pit boss and floor supervisor watching your game with suspicious looks on their faces. Maybe (unlikely) they even kicked you out on your first visit! (Any intelligent table games supervisor knows there are more inept card counters than good ones, so he’ll let you play, and lose!) But this time you win, and you see the dark side of casino management, you see their reaction to your win, you realize not everyone wants you to win. You might even begin to think, counting cards is easy, but getting away with it is the hard part! This may be true, but it’s not the real reason you’re not going pro.
