Monochrome Monday Art in the city
Monochrome Monday Art in the city
For this week's Monochrome Monday hosted by @old-guy-photos, I thought I would share a couple of shots of art pieces that have been on display in NYC.

This first one is of the Rhino statue in Astor Place, which was a piece called the last three, I have shared a post of this piece before but thought I would include this shot in Mono in this post as I loved this piece and this shot in mono.
The piece is no longer in Astor Place, I checked for it one morning this week and it has been moved I don't know to where

And this is the dog in the table of Love piece that I served recently
As much as I hate the concrete jungle and crowds of NYC I do love all the art they have on display.
Unless stated otherwise all photos used in my posts are taken and owned by myself, if you wish to use any of my images please contact me.

@hangin That is such a cool piece for sure thanks for the visit
My pleasure i would love to have that statue in my home...lol :)
Great shot, elegance dog🐕
I love the table of love peace and everytime I see the dogs it makes me smile. What a cool piece of art and you're right. The crowds can we don't think and downright miserable, but you just can't beat yard work, the architecture, The Eclectic mix of culture mixed into a whole lot of wonder and the vibe of the city.
You need to get your detective hat on and see where they moved the other pieces.
A wonderful way to start the day, a nice mono from the city. Thanks JJ for making it a cultural day.
@dswigle I did find out where the rhinos went hey are at the Metrotech Center in Brooklyn , I have never been there it I may have to check it out
Thanks for your support ;)
Woohoo for concreat jungle!!!! That dog in sute is puuurrfect, such s cool thing, i want one!!!😂😀👍🏻💗🐉💗🐲
@swedishdragon I loved this one I would want it in my garden area, well if and when I have a garden area
With my own animal obsession in my art, these two statues are so amazing and right up my alley. I love to see them in black and white with the city behind, it feels even more surreal and magical.
Thats cool that these stand out for you with your obsession
