Seed parasols
I am perverse enough to want to photograph flowers in black and white although these aren't actually flowers, they are seeds. The flower is a yellow daisy and when flowering is done, instead of the typical dandelion-type seeds that most of the daisy family make, these little white parasols open. When they float to the ground they are carried around by ants and seed dispersal happens that way.
Nature is fascinatingly diverse.

Handsomely!!!
Thank you!
Yes, nature is fascinatingly diverse. :-)
Very informative. I never knew that daisies using umbrellas go to other places.
They all do, in one way or another
This looks very much like abstract painting!

Sounds backwards.. But if it works it's frontwards.... :-)
