RE: MONOMAD - On Stones

Another nice click. There is a serene beauty in black and white photos. For me B&W snaps have in most cases more life than color snaps. Some of the old photos in my home during the time when color photography was not available are still there showing its worth,

The time of photographers with another skill..And the photo you posted also have special appeal for it. Getting a feel of expressive and energetic

As I'm quite often mentioning, we see the world in color. And that's why B&W shots are unusual for our brain and it accepts them in an unique way. And if earlier you wasn't able to do much with a black and white film (except making initial photos with color filters), now the digital conversion from color to b&w gives much more possibilities in post-production. Even adding those film filters and effects when you actually hardly say if that was film or digital initially :) Anyhow, truth is those vintage b&w photos always have own charm.. and a LOT!

This explanation is really convincing. My memory gone back to the time when there was only B&W Phots and the transition has made wonderful life for those who loves Photos and colors.

Thank you... Have a nice day
