In this first image I photographed a Streptocarpus bud still closed.
They somehow remind me African Violets because of their hairy nature.
Get a dark background and good natural light on them and you're set to go.
All the little hairs pop out shouting - "Me... me... shoot me!"

In the next one I shot a couple of buds from one of our orchids, a Procatavola Golden Peacock.
One of the prettiest orchid flowers that I've seen and own.
It looks like it's made out of wax. Very different from its "conventional" cousins.
Same process... Dark background and natural light.
No screaming hairs though...
