More of the Polish countryside goodness.
Can't really get enough of it. The contrasts between the flat fields and the thick forests keep dragging my eye and camera to them.
These next images were captured few years ago when I was still shooting in Auto mode, letting the camera make all decisions for me regarding the used settings.
There's nothing wrong with that, everyone has to start somehow, and only practice and persistence will allow us to evolve our skills. The only trick in the book is keep shooting.
A simple monochrome edit on this first one.
The idea here was to focus mainly on the trees silhouettes and on the far away mist coming out of the forest.

This next one was shot in a different day and a lot closer to the forest line.
That little observation tower caught my attention. I still don't know the exact purpose of it, but if someone took the time and effort to build it makes me believe there's a very good reason behind it.
It's pretty common to see Dears coming out from the forest, looking for some grass to munch on these fields.
Unfortunately they were on strike in this occasion, so I couldn't photograph any. You will have to take my word for it :p
