Daily photography - Chenonceau, France
This is my entry for the #monomad challenge created by @brumest and held at his @monochromes account. (You can read the rules here.)
The Château of Chenonceau is a beautiful castle located near the village of Chenonceaux in France. Also known as the Château des Dames (Ladies' Château), it was built in the 16th century on the foundations of an old mill (1514–1522), and then extended to span the river.
It is one of the most visited castles in the Loire Valley.

I saw your photo and immediately knew where it was taken. Chenonceau was my favorite of all the chateaus we visited on a trip to France this summer!
Great!
What a beautiful spot and looks so good in Mono
