Don't forget your camera!

in #monomad6 years ago

A photographer should always keep a camera handy because you never know when the perfect photo opportunity is going to present itself. I have an amazing knack for not doing that so it was more of a happy accident that I had mine with me to take this. I'd been camping in Rocky Mountain National Park and had ran low on supplies so I'd driven back into town (Estes Park, the Gatlinburg of the Rockies) to restock. I stopped at the first place I came to, a gas station-supermarket-general store-coffee shop combination (while that may sound amusing the truck stop, McDonald's, and casino combo I encountered in Nevada still has it beat) and when I got out of my car I looked back towards the park and saw this. Thankfully my camera was with me so I grabbed it, dodged some traffic, and snapped a few shots standing between the gas pumps. You never know were you'll find your next shot at!
