Wieliczka Salt Mine Architecture
On Monday I made a post about the Wieliczka Salt Mine which provoked some interest so I thought I'd share a couple more photographs, this time for @brumest's daily monomad contest.
The theme today is abstract and I thought the internal stucture of a gallery within the mine was a good choice for that.

Taken with my Samsung A5 as usual which did pretty well considering there was very little light.
Wow this is cool stuff. Its like something from a video game. You don't expect this in our modern world - complicated but some how simple, rustic. Unfinished beams. Geometric but not quite symmetric or totally ordered.
It's certainly an unusual structure @steven-patrick. Finding such uniformly sized trees must have been quite a job! 😊
I was there too with @Ewkaw. Amazing place, almost unbelievable what was dug and built under ground there. If I remember it correctly we were 90 Meters deep. Insane.
