One of these five talented men will walk away with the Academy Award for Best Achievement in Directing at the 91st Academy Awards on February 24th. Last night they were honored as Outstanding Directors at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival. Left to right are Adam McKay (Vice), Pawel Pawlikowski (Cold War), Alfonso Cuarón (Roma), Yorgos Lanthimos (The Favourite), and Spike Lee (BlacKkKlansman).
