While waiting in line the other night for an event at the Arlington Theatre in Santa Barbara, California, I realized that I wanted to run to the car, parked behind the theatre, to get my 55-250 mm lens. Somehow, as I reached into the pocket where my phone was while discussing my plan with my wife, I triggered Siri and, I swear this is true, she said, "Don't go to the car alone." What the Hell? So, on the way to the car, I snapped this image, that could have been my last, which I'm posting now for the daily #MonoMad photo contest created by @brumest and curated by @monochromes.. Luckily, all went well, and I'll share some of the photos from inside the theatre another time.
