Architecture series #6 - Paris, France
I've been always fascinated by the different, and sometimes, so similar, architecture of the countries I've visited so far. I decided, then, make a short series of some ordinary constructions, and some other more sophisticated, old, or contemporary. Here's the Louvre and its extraordinary pyramid in a long exposure photo!

Wonderful shot! I love Paris!
You chose a most arresting view of the entrance, the largest pyramid, Isabel. Right smack in the middle, giving it such perfect symmetry and balance. The mono gives this such an overwhelmingly warm touch.
I have always loved the courtyard where the four pyramids are, opposite the Jardin des Tuileries. When I was a teenager, the Louvre had the old entrance and I didn't see the new one until 1990, six months after it opened.
I wonder how many people really know that it is really a castle? Superb shot, my friend.
