Tree Fungi Health Benefits
This is my entry for #monomad photo contest sponsored by @brumest and @monochromes.
A tree in the forest with Turkey Tail Fungi growing near the bottom of it.
The name Turkey Tail comes from the color and shape of the fungi being similar to the tail of a wild turkey.
This fungus can easily be indenified in the woods on fallen or dead trees.
It has many traditional medicinal benefits and can be brewed to make a tea.
Turkey tail Fungi has antibacterial and antioxidant properties and many believe a tea or extract will aid in many diseases from cancer to indigestion.
Fungi is the plural of fungus. Yeasts, molds and mushrooms are examples of fungi.

!STOP!I love looking for mushroom/fungi for photo opt! I don't trust myself to identify what is safe to consume or not consume, so I will leave that part to the experts. I know what morels look like and it's safe to eat, lol...

Here are some mushroom that are said to be very " magical ".
I think the squirrels and that mischievous raccoon are high on those magic shrooms all the time. 😂 🙃 🐿
