Obviously losing is still possible. You need about 20x consecutive losses to wipe out about 1,000,000 Steemies (1 Steem). An even "safer" play is to reduce the auto cashout to 3x or 2.5x.. but your gains might not cover the potentially larger losses over the long run. So maybe not too low a multiplier.
I had a 3x multiplier and was doing not bad!
honestly i think it's possible to make a really good run if i can write a script which accounts for the history of the results..
