Ways to Save Money
I saw on youtube once this woman who was crazy about saving money.
The house only had ONE light bulb. One! You had to unscrew it and take it to another room to use it there. She had 2 young kids. Their bedroom was left of the stairs. Bathroom door in front of the stairs and adult bedroom to the right. Accident waiting to happen.
she'd reuse the same water for boiling their food for a whole week. No lid. So gross.
If her kids didn't finish their spaghetti and tomato sauce, instead of putting it in Tupperware like a regular person, she would scrape the sauce off each strand back into the jar. I don't know what she did to the pasta afterwards.
she would take her all grapes off the stem at the store and peel the bananas before buying them. Even if they weren't being eaten until tomorrow or later.
had friends over for a football (possibly super bowl) party. Made her boyfriend / fiance turn off TV during the ads. But that's not the only power saving thing she did......
She served a lasagne. Nice of her you might think..... Except she cooked it in the DISHWASHER. THE DISHWASHER. This one puzzles me the most. I can't even.
