I NEVER UNDERSTOOD MY MOTHER!

There, sitting on the bed, feeding her 3 months old she fell into the deep well of thoughts where she started comparing her life with her mother’s.

Being a little girl just like her 2 year old, she could remember how wrong she was about her mother. She used to think that her mother does not give her time and spends more time doing things she likes. If her mother used to go and meet her friends, she used to think she has not done anything good for her kids by leaving them home and going out just to see her friends. She could see that she and her sister wake up early and their dad makes tea for them to have with rusk or have fruits in the morning, all she used to think that her mother likes to sleep more and avoids the rest of the family.

Now that she was in her mother’s shoes, she could understand how wrong she was about her mother. If her mother spent some time with friends in the evening leaving the kids at home with their dad, she needed it to refresh herself for the rest of the days. If she spent time in the kitchen or doing other household work, she used to do it for the family and not thinking about her health whether it was good or bad or it was difficult or easy, she just did it because she loved her family. If her mom slept a little late in the morning that was because she woke up again and again during the night when she and her sister needed some milk or their diapers needed to be changed or their father needed her time.

Her mother was NEVER wrong instead she was MISUNDERSTOOD. Just like that, she is afraid that her kids might think the same way about her, they may misunderstand her. She fears thinking of the quote; “What goes around, comes around” but she tries hard to do things right. Still everyone cannot be satisfied at all times, every time something is just left out. She can’t do it all.
