Freeze the Moment

Time flies when you're having fun! For me spending time with my kids is so much fun and I wish that I could freeze the moments spent with them. You see, I have two kids, I love them so much.

These are my two lovely kids.

When my son was 4 months old, I was pregnant with my daughter. My husband didn't have a job, I have meager income but I knew that God will provide us. Life was okay. When I gave birth to my daughter, my in-laws thought that it would be better if they take my son away from me for him to be raised properly and to enjoy his childhood not having the responsibility of looking after his baby sister. It was very hard for me but my husband said it would be for the better.

My son grew up with his grandparents. I used to cry every night missing him but I had to be strong for my daughter and for him. I worked hard and saved to buy plane tickets just let my kids see and not missed out a lot of each other. I usually ended up broke after every trips but it's worth it.

Looking at their happy faces, I am the happiest person in the world.

I used to look for extra jobs just to save for trips to Nueva Ecija in Luzon from Zamboanga del Sur in Mindanao. The trip in itself is exhausting, leaving our house at 4:00 in the morning and arriving there at 5:00 in the afternoon. It would take me two days and two nights on a ship if I don't have much savings. But it was all worth it!

It had been 8 years but I am not giving up. Someday my son will be home again! But for now, every splitting seconds, we will cherish each moment together.
