Stay Motivated.jpg

Whenever we start something new our motivation is high. We start it with great excitement and energy. But after time our motivation drops. We lose interest and finally it becomes difficult for us to keep it up. Well it is natural phenomenon and we cannot keep our motivation continuously high for long. The ideal is to keep it sinusoidal. To keep it high we must have these three factors in our work.

Emotions

Emotions play an important role in keeping our motivation up. If we are emotionally attached to our job our motivation will stay upright. When I’m writing articles I feel delighted. My heart blooms. So I’m emotionally bound to writing. This keeps me up.

Vision and Focus

If there is no goal behind what we are doing it will drag our motivation down eventually. Dreaming is important. Have dreams, make your mindset and set a goal for your run. It will give height to your emotions. Having no goal will reduce our motivation even if we are emotional about our work.
When we have set our goals it is important to give them priorities in life. Don’t ignore them for other things. Focus on the goal first, everything else comes second to it. My teacher once told me that:

“A man was being chased by a dog. He was running to save his life without noticing anything else, but when he turned back he saw that he had left the world behind.”

He wasn’t aware of anything else, only one goal in his mind. This type of focus makes one successful

Spirituality

Spirituality is also important to achieve great goals. We cannot succeed without thinking of others especially on this platform. Here we have to work as a community for success. In my view it is like being a gardener because

if we ask him when he feels happy? He replies when he roots a plant, when he feel even happier? Replies, when the seeds grow, When he feels Happiest? Replies, when young children smile looking at the trees and people use it for good.

Helping others gives us spiritual satisfaction which motivates us.

My Case

In my case I would like to thank @simplymike . She was supporting the newcomers on steemit who were having difficulties engaging here by delegating them RC. She had fixed a criteria for the delegation and I wasn’t competent enough for it. Yet she supported me and delegated me some SP. This was the biggest motivation for me.
The RC system is a great challenge for newcomers and older steemians who have >50 steem power. But there are some gardeners who are willing to support skillful and serious steemians. I salute their efforts from the depths of my heart.

When I’m writing articles I feel delighted. My heart blooms.

Spontanious articles are often the best ones. When you reread them afterwards, there's always the thought that some things could have been better. But if you start re-writing, you risk overthinking it, and then it becomes a post written from the head instead of from the heart.

In my own posts, I can see big difference between the ones I wrote from the heart an posted without editing it, and the ones I wrote and changed and edited. They simply use a lot of the charm.
And if you feel like you could have explained things better you can always write a follow-up.post in which you do so :0)

Thanks for sharing your personal experience , they mean a lot to me. I'll keep this in mind.
