Be Open.
We need to evolve with our thinking. We need to let go of our desire to always be right. Being open is key to self development.
I was discussing with a friend not too long ago and we spoke about how humans have preconceived notion on how things are supposed to be. Being open to learning helps a lot. It helps us and keep us informed.
When we keep holding on to what we believe is right to us, we miss out on what we need to learn to advance our lives in the right direction.
Whatever we choose to focus on soon becomes our reality. Mindset is the hardest thing to change and it is the most important thing that decides what we see or get out of life. We need a change of approach. We need a shift in perspectives, and only then can we judge objectively and decide what needs to be done.
We need to open up our thinking, so we can learn as fast as we can. For someone who thinks life is always unfair, or men are always the same, or ladies are always cheating, such person can never get the best from either life, men or ladies, because even when the good stuffs come, such person will never recognise it nor appreciate it.
I decided to keep this short this time, and just want to drive home the point: we should change the way we think, so that we can change our world. Our words and thoughts shape our world.
Forget all you know and embrace the new. There are always new things to know, new discoveries to make, and better things life and humans have to offer. You might not be able to get them all if you expect the worst of everyone. There is need to be careful, yes, and there are moments when you need to learn and evolve, leave your comfort zone and change your views. Not every one you meet wants to harm you or hurt you, don't let insecurities and how you feel things are, rob you of what lies ahead.
